Project Overview

ARADHAGA, literally meaning, the dhaga of mutual solidarity is one of the oldest and the most successful projects of Enactus Ramjas. For over 11 years, it has spread smiles and impacted countless lives. It was in 2012 when Enactus Ramjas collaborated with an NGO based in Jahangirpuri. The society helped inculcate remarkable skills of sewing, knitting, weaving, hand block painting, and many more to enable them to earn basic income for themselves.

What makes Aradhaga different is that we have a connection with our women beneficiaries beyond the technicalities of social entrepreneurship; they provide our project its meaning and depth.

Project Avenues

Present Avenue

Currently, we are focusing on our textile upcycling avenue to set the seal on sustainability along with style. We provide Totebags with impressive durability and a vibrant range of scrunchies and pouches. We don't throw the word 'durable' lightly when it comes to our products. Our tote bags are made of fine quality material with pockets and compartments inside so that you can carry maximum stuff with zero hassle. We have successfully collaborated with the third generation of our beneficiaries to make paper mache bowls and trendy jewelry.

Future Avenue

We are aware of the fact that in order to strive in this world, skill enhancement and growth are vital to every human being. With this in mind, we plan to dive into newer and more creative avenues to expand this venture and create an opportunity for our beneficiaries to reach one step closer to their fullest potential. We plan to set up skill enhancement training sessions to make our beneficiaries familiar with the art of crocheting. Furthermore, We aim to set up a self-help group for our beneficiaries.

Mission

This emotional initiative by Enactus Ramjas aims to promote inclusivity all around us and fulfill the sustainable development goals of GENDER EQUALITY and DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH.
